Merry Christmas!

O Holy Night
The stars are brightly shining
It is the night of our dear Saviour’s birth
Long lay the world in sin and error pining
‘Til He appeared and the soul felt it’s worth
A thrill of hope the weary world rejoices
For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn.

Fall on your knees
O hear the Angels voices.
O night divine
O night when Christ was born
O night divine
O night divine
O night divine.

Christmas waves a magic wand over this world,
and behold, everything is softer and more beautiful.

  1. Merry Christmas, Nancy! The photo is gorgeous and the verse wonderful too. Hope you and yours are together and having a wonderful holiday together. We are tucked in – just Bob, Mom and me- for a quiet Christmas celebration. And the forecast is for snow tomorrow – a white Christmas in the Ozarks! Thanks for your friendship this past year! *hugs* K

    • Dear Kathleen – the very same to you as well. I’m glad you liked the photo and verse.

They (my daughter, her Dad & boyfriend) are all playing video games right now. I’m not sure but I think her Dad got on the wrong team and she just shot him in the back. There’s a lot of laughter coming from the room and they don’t miss me yet. I’m trying to dash off some notes before they notice me being gone. I was just on my way over to your blog to wish you the a Merry Christmas when I saw your note to me.

It’s not yet sunset, when the magic starts to happen and all slows down, but already we are feeling relaxed, secure and happy. Enjoy your holidays as well – quiet is good too – and a white Christmas too! That’s the best when you don’t have to travel or go to work.

Merry Christmas, Kathleen – and thank you also for the wonderful friendship – a big hug right back at ya’.
