Nancy, Your dogs are so beautiful, and you are much more lenient that I am. I don’t like my big dog Buddy to get on the furniture because he is so harry and slobbery, but he does it anyway… It is a rare day that I can catch him in such a deep sleep that he doesn’t hear me coming and jump down. He will actually jump to the floor (with an audible thud) and then lay down and pretend he is asleep!!! ;)
I want to be mad at him, but then he opens one eye in a slit and looks at me like, “I’ve been here the whole time, can’t you tell I’ve been sleeping?” ~ Lynda
Our cats did the same thing with the kitchen counter. They knew they weren’t supposed to be up there, but we could always hear them thump down as we approached the kitchen. The dogs took over the couch their first day home. The cats were so not happy with them.
I don’t think they saved you a seat–or they’re keeping it warm for you…
I think the answer depends on whether I make them move or not!
Nancy
Best friends enjoying life
That they are! I’m glad you enjoyed it.
love this photo. it made me smile today
I’m happy I could give you some joy today. Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment!
cute, and I am smiling. I look across the room and there is our dog, laying where she does not belong… on the couch… why do dogs thing they are people?
Dogs are pretty manipulative. I call them the perpetual toddlers, always pushing the limit. But we love them anyhow!
Thanks for the smile and the tulips!
My mission was accomplished! Thanks for leaving a note.
Been busy and sat down to do a bit of catch up with my side kick next me. The photo received a very happy response from her! :)
I have no doubts she liked the picture!
I think one of them is worried about sliding off! Whoa! Is that a splint?
LOL! No, it’s his white fur and the way his leg is folded. He’s a tri-colored beagle. You can see his coloring here.

They are marvelous!
They really are. I haven’t seen them squeeze onto the couch like that for a while. I’m glad I could get off some pictures before they moved.
