This evening was the official relaunching of my old blog at www.dogear6.com.  It’s new name is A Daily Life and it’s mission statement says:

Need help?  Not sure what to write about today?  Interested in a good book to stoke your writing?  Looking for ideas for special days, special events or just to try something different?

You’ve come to the right place.  This blog is for bloggers, diarists, and writers.  Its purpose is to provide writing prompts, book reviews, journal jar ideas, and encouragement on creativity. It will be a mix of original material, links and reposted material, and guest bloggers.

My heart is for diaries, having kept them for over 25 years. So much of what happens with blogs is similar. There are many excellent things out in cyberspace, but no consistent way of finding it. My hope is that you find this a one-stop resource for your blogging / diary needs.

I posted my first article out there on how to add awards / badges to your sidebar.  I’ve been answering this quite a lot lately for my fellow bloggers, so I thought I’d memorialize it in the first post.
