Wonder At the Vastness of Everything Around Us

Wonder – Something astonishing and seemingly inexplicable.

Ray Bradbury once said,

“Stuff your eyes with wonder, live as if you’d drop dead in ten seconds. See the world. It’s more fantastic than any dream made or paid for in factories.”
Wonder is all around us.  All we need to do is look for it.  This is taken at the edge of Lake Superior at White Sands Bay.

Word for tomorrow – SUPREME.  If you prefer to work ahead, see the list for the week under “A Word A Day”.

To see how others might interpret today’s randomly selected word, check out other challenge participants in the box at the right.  For more information on participating in the challenge, click  the tab marked “challenge invitation”.

    • I so agree. Unfortunately when you visit there, you realize you can never due that because of the flies and mosquitoes. I can see why alcoholism was such a problem up there between working in the mines, the poverty and the non-stop bugs.

    • I was looking for this pic when the weekly photo challenge was ocean. So few people realize how vast the Great Lakes are. You feel like you can see eternity from the shore.
