Casting for Cookies

Casting (from Wiktionary) – A manufacturing process using a mold.

Manufacturing is intended to be a repeatable process with consistent results.  That’s the whole purpose of casting molds.  Of course, molds can also be used as the jumping off point for creativity, fun, and a big old mess, complete with laughter and little show-offs.

These “molds” were the cookie cutters, and the manufacturers were my daughter and nephew, many years ago.  To see the picture of them older (and in the kitchen again!), click here

  1. What an imaginative depiction of mold and manufacture. You are a deep thinker, that’s for sure. And you have a fabulous inventory of photographs too!

    love both pictures…hugmamma. :)

    • Thanks for the lovely compliment. Some days are more creative than others. I sure do have to think about some of the words though.
